1. Male students must be given the responsibility, as per the discretion of the teacher, of giving the Khutba on Jumu'a. They also must pass three sessions of conversation conducted completely in Arabic with their teacher. Each session must last 15 minutes.
2. Female students must demonstrate that they can compose poetry completely in Arabic of the Qasidah variety. They also must pass three sessions of conversation conducted completely in Arabic with their teacher. Each session must last 15 minutes.
